UK Gas Bonding Certification

New gas boiler install. Previously no gas in dwelling, water is plastic. So no bonding presently.
No other work, boiler supply to use existing Electric Heater Circuit.

What certification should be used, It's not a new circuit, so not EIC. So just Minor Works?

No bonding required if gas main incomer is plastic or has an insulator and minor works for electrical connection

Main gas incomer is metal, so it needs bonding.

Boiler is using existing FCU.

IMO the boiler should not be commissioned untill the gas service is bonded in this situation.

It would be good to record it, if that's what you are going to do why not fill in minor works certificate.

If it was me, I would defo fill in a MEIWC, but I'm trying to get another sparc to do one. But I can't find anything black and white on this.

It's retrospective request, so easy to say no, unless something in regs I can point to, but it does seem to be upto the sparc
