Read the reviews of both books, they're class.

I only looked at the picture and at the price.

I think it only has about a dozen pages in it and as Trev says the reviews tell you all you need to know.

Have a search on this forum for him. He made a few posts here before he "disappeared"

I think he was "disappeared" in the South American version of "disappeared"

Yeah I had a feeling the it wouldn't be worth it long term, there is only so much you can learn in 10weeks, especially part time... gonna head in and see what they have to offer when ive got a bit of time. Kate, Id love to shadow the guy but he's a subcontractor and it wouldn't really work. nice idea though, am going keeping an eye out of a sparky buddy up with for a bit.

thanks for the help guys really appreciated.

Esub, as far as I'm concerned you've got a choice of 3 immediately to buddy up with Topcat, MDJ or Kate. They all know their stuff and you'll pick up a lot from them. That's not even considering your current subby guy.

Hi there.

There is no quick and easy way to becoming an electrician. 4 years ago I had an plastering business that went ---- up. The place I was working at the time I got friendly with an old school electrician that was looking of an help in hand.
so I worked with him for around a year has a mate before learning theory at Stratford collage. I did 2330 level 2 and 3, did my 17th addition, this took me around 2 years of intensive training. After this I waited around a year before starting 2394/2395. Did my multiple guess today (don't know results till Monday), got the written (2395) Tuesday and 2394 Wednesday, so fingers crossed. This has been a lot of hard work being 34 with two young kids. But I'm nearly there!!!! Thanks lester
