I will go with Labour. I dont think anyone could have done better under the circumstances.Cameron is too slimey and smooth, and too young. You need somebody with a little bit of experience. The Tories will distance the UK from the EU, which is not a good thing. The Uk are being left behind.

I will be going with the Conservatives. The only thing that the working man gets from a Labour Govt is high taxation. And I am sick of being screwed to fund lazy spongers on the benefit system and others who shouldn't be here in the first place. Not sure if anyone else can do a better job, but no one can make matters any worse than the shower in command at the moment.

I would vote BNP but they dont have a local candidate. Unfortunately around Leeds there are too many dossers, free loaders and other scum, and all the sheep who vote Labour because they cant think for themselves but "my dad always voted Labour" types. Labour will walk back in with about a 20000 majority in my area.

Please ....stop...........and start thinking for a moment ! Everybody is in a recession, not only the UK. When times were good the last 10 years, plenty of jobs, low interest rates, the housing cash machine etc. I did not hear anybody complain. You were all happily enjoying the party. Now that it is hangover time, you dont like Labour anymore.
East Europeans are not qualified to work in the UK. Why do they come here ? Because they get jobs. Who gives them the jobs ? UK companies !
If UK companies ( re Dover, Cadbury ) cannot compete with outside companies, they should be taken over.
Why are you so scared of the EU ? Why do you think the UK are a victim of the EU ?
If Britian was so strong, and powerful, and dare I say Great, why are they not running the EU ?
Why is Germany, and France in charge?
Re . the failure of Banks, its our money, that are with them. Are you prepared to have your account frozen, for months or years, while the bank go through the bankrupcy process. Are you prepared to lose yor home, mortgage to some creditor of the bank ? Please people start thinking !!!

With respect, I suggest you read up on fractional reserve banking. And also, you cannot lose your mortgage to some credtior of a bank, as your mortgage is a debt- classed as a asset by the bank!!- so if a bank was to go under your debt would be wiped out. Savers would be the only losers in this situation.

The east europeans come here because no other EU government gives money (benefits) away like our Labour government. UK companies give them jobs because they are cheap labour

I think you will find they were in the "Common Market" as it was called before the UK was and they have walked all over us since Labour came to power at least Thatcher fort for the rebate only for labour to give it away all to easily.

May be we could / should have sued all the fat cat *ankers and recovered the bonuses they made on business they did that didn't produce the profit they forecast and the big pay offs they got

I'm not upset by your comments in fact I find it quite funny that you cannot see beyond your red (Labour) rose tinted glasses. I don't read the dockers comic it fell from favour where I'm from some 20 years ago

My recommendation to you is to get your head out of that rose tinted world and start thinking whoever wins this election will have to sort out the massive loan UK PLC have and pay it back and I don't believe Labour are going to give us an easy life if they are re elected

I prefer to take the view of who is going to do less damage to the working classes.The Tories in my view encourage free enterprise and let people take a more active role in their own destiny. I am sick to the back teeth of the nanny state, red tape and Labour thinking they know best.
Labour are more interested in helping the non-working class and the super rich. The rest of us in the middle pick up the bills.10p tax rate really helped the lower paid working class.

FWIW that was a terrible time and those miners were pooped on from a great height by both sides.IMO that was a battle between the unions and the Govt. The miners were just pawns. The country couldn't be held to ransom anymore. They should have kept the pits though. Now we are going to held to ransom by foreign countries!!!
