generic test sheets and building control

Hi, i'm shortly expecting an assessor from the NIC , I have to show him around three of the jobs Ive done. I have had to fill out generic test sheets, and was wondering if the assessor will want the works notified to building control, Ive spoken to building control and they want over £300 per job, this is something I simply cannot afford at the moment. Would be good to hear some of your experiences in this situation and perhaps some advice , Nick

Can you not notify the job once you have joined the NIC? They are normally pretty understanding if you explain it

Which is exactly how it should be , a 3 month grace period to notify jobs once registered to do so
