Hi guys, doin a light bit of electrical work this morning on my day off. In a tenants house of a letting agent I look after, popping out to the van I was bit by the sh1tty little dog. The woman was quite apologetic but it did break the skin on the back of my leg.
What course of action has anyone taken ie could I be in for a massive payment and retire at 35 haha.
Before anyone says I did immediately back heel it through the glass door behind me.

The chances of you catching something is slim unless the dog is your typical mistreated council estate scum "protection" dog. Healthy dogs are fine. That said, still get your self down to the docs just in case.
I always blame the owner in these situations. Ive got a dog who whilst he has never even shown his teeth to anyone, barks at people he doesn't know. And if you didn't know how soft he really is, its a very intimidating big bark. Because of that i always keep him on a short lead and always away if people have to come into the house. People can get scared very easily and that fear can spark off worry in a dog!

If you don't get an overwhelming urge to pee on lamp posts or car wheels within 72 hours you should be fine.:leaving:

If gnselectricals starts dragging his ar$e across the floor, we’ll know that that dog has worms.

The thing is, in a dogs world there is no such thing as a mistake. Which is why, when you get up during the night to go to toilet and trip over it, it will think you got up just to kick it in the head. So that dog that bit you, deliberately attacked you, it was not some kind of mistake. If it had done that to me, it would have died from “pedem in asinum morbo”.
But look on the bright side! Get yourself down to the Med centre and have a tetanus injection up you backside by some sexy little nurse. These opportunities rarely present themselves, so you have to make the most of it.:jester:

I have a similar story.
It was New Years Eve. Used to be a big thing in Scotland.
The usual routine was to celebrate it with my cousin, her husband and family. I got to the house, and was met at the door by great granny, a couple of grand children, and this bloody great, mean tempered Alsatian.

It grabbed me by....the wedding tackle and bit so hard it drew blood even through my clothing. Interesting trying to explain to the nurse what happened.

And the dogs name? Lady.....:(
