I do these type of jobs on the way home (after earning the right wage)
If i am passing i would charge £15 and up depending on the light to replace (hate those ones with all that hanging glass and beads )
I certainly would only except the payment in £

I have a feeling he meant he would only accept payment in money, not specifically sterling as thats a bit of a given. I dont think he meant payment in £ rather than turkish lira or japanese yen, just money over a basket of vegetables or 6 pack of beer. haha
