Guidance Note 3 is due for release in April some say & there is even a note on the Amazon website advising there is a newer edition of this book due & they are taking pre-orders.

I have posted for your information the books that we recommend at our INTACS Industrial training Centre. By the way the courses shown below are the latest City & Guilds that give the latest qualifications & we are currently running these.

Books recommended for the City & Guilds 2382-12 course & exam

 • BS7671:2008 (2011) (the GREEN Book “Wiring Regulations”) ISBN-13: 978-1849192699
· BS 7671 Learning Guide: A Practical Guide to Understanding the IEE Wiring Regulations Including the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Amendment ISBN-13: 978-1-609091-31-6
This publication has only recently been updated & made available March 2012.

Books recommended for the City & Guilds 2395-01 course & exams

 • BS7671:2008 (2011) (the GREEN Book “Wiring Regulations”) ISBN-13: 978-1849192699
· NICEIC Inspection, Testing and Certification including Periodic Reporting 6[SUP]th[/SUP] Edition
ISBN-13: 978-1906091-32-3 (printed early March 2012)
This NICEIC book is highly recommended in the absence of the latest Guidance Note 3: Inspection & Testing, 6th Edition which is due to be available sometime in April 2012 but Guidance Note has been the traditional reference book recommended for the City & Guilds Inspect, Test & Certification course/ exams.
Guidance Note 3: Inspection & Testing, 6th Edition, ISBN: 978-1-84919-275-0
This publication is due for printing April 2012

Hope this is of help to people...
