I think maybe the shower hose is missing the retaining clip that stops the shower head reaching into the bottom of the bath?

This was not a self install but done by a professional to the requirements of the customer ! The customer even took the ladder in and screwed it in to position and said the shower can go on it !

It appears that there isn't a proper floor laid ot cope with the water.....this is a set-up ...or unfinished

Sure it was a professional and not an expert? As we know an ex spurt is a has been drip under pressure

I can assure you it isn’t a setup or an unfinished project ! It is in fact for a guy who only lives there for very short periods while not working away from home ! It’s in an old cottage on an island in a remote area ! The only way I discovered it was through him being in the local plumbers merchants the other day asking for advise ! After he left the plumber that installed this then showed us what he had been asked to do the last time over two years ago and the owner had said it was all still as he had left it !
