hazardous area contractor needed

hi all, wondering if anyone knows of any companies that work in installation of hazardous areas. site has a new outdoor flam store which they store chemicals(don't ask) they require a clima controlled heater and a light, the stores is about 3x4 metres in size im finding it hard to find someone to do this as companies who compex are saying they don't cover chemical stores which I find strange. if anyone can point me in the right direction that will be fabulous thanks also site is around the uxbridge area

What type of chemicals are they storing? Would be a straight forward installation with the right spec and information.
Most contractors will not have insurance to carry out such types of work.

You will need to have this unit connected to their fire alarm system as well.

Also, is there ventilation/fire dampers required?

im not sure what chemicals are stored however I have told the client it will need to linked to the fire alarm and some form of ventilation also but I myself am not compex trained so im trying to find hazardous area contractors that are obviously specialised with these installation as I imagine there are some form of apex rated smoke heads and the rest of it. I have found a company just waiting for a date to be quoted but even they were a bit dubious about the idea lets hope it can be resolved and nothing blows up lol

Hi Rundiz. First of all you will need to have an area classification done. From that though you will know what substances are in the area. Only then will you know what equipment you are able to use.
