I got a 3 pack ie head torch and 2 metal torches from the co-op yep the co-op for £5.99 it was in an AA pack very happy as you have 3 settings on the headtorch plus a flash setting as well so chuffed I bought 2 sets

Previously bought cheap £5 energiser one from morrisons and not actually that bad small compact bright, just bought led lenser h7 my brother a police officer bought the normal led lenser hand torch impressed

I brought myself one of the Unilite Prosafe CREE LED Head Torch PS-H3. Excellent light output and lasts for ages. It also has a green LED (unsure as to why) and an red LED - again unsure as to why, but the red is good for when going into lofts when there may be a wasp nest present as they can't see red light and it gives you more time to make an escape!!


So good I brought the Unilite Prosafe PS-H6 Rechargeable 350 Lumen LED Headlight for walking the dog and walking to the pub, 350 Lumen - it is extremly bright.

Just read the web site and the green is for map reading/signaling and the red is for night vision/sos

if you are looking at a cheap ebay one go for the smd led's as they pack a bit punch for their size.

i have two, a cheap smd one and the energizer (press button)
the smd one is amazing but does not like being droped were as the energzier seems to bounce ok.

oh and red light doesnt mess up your night vison and green doesnt mess up night vison goggles (much lol)

if you are looking at a cheap ebay one go for the smd led's as they pack a bit punch for their size.

i have two, a cheap smd one and the energizer (press button)
the smd one is amazing but does not like being droped were as the energzier seems to bounce ok.

oh and red light doesnt mess up your night vison and green doesnt mess up night vison goggles (much lol)

I use the red light when I'm looking for something that I don't want to find.
