Health and safety gone mad!

The thing with health and safety is it gets drilled into everyone from all environments! When working in my own home my daughter wont even let me go up a ladder saying its too dangerous to be working more than 3 feet off the ground! I am so glad she told me that now i know i shouldn't have been doing things like this for the last 30 years....lol

Health and Safety gone mad....absolutely and its mad everywhere and with everything!

Other week working in a staff rest room had to ware hard hat high viz eye protection and gloves to fix their computer while a train driver was sat 3 ft away having his dinner ho yes also had to have toe caps as well health and saftey go mad?

Why was he having his dinner in the toilet? That doesn't sound very healthy to me.

The train co call them rest rooms they dont like to call workers staff any more LOL

Oh how i long for the good old days when you didn't need to go on a course to use a ladder, or build scaffolding or use a hoover....etc,etc, etc You just got on with the job you were trained to do in the first place! It now seems we need trained on something new every week at a cost to our pockets too.
