i all, I'm Dave.

After nearly 24 years working as a local authority electrical inspector I got completely fed up and left to set up as a self employed electrician almost a year ago.
Since then I haven't stopped and wish I'd done this years ago !
The OCD bit is because I'm a fussy bugger so probably work twice as hard as many to get things done in a reasonable time. :smile5:
I thought it would be good to join in order to share in the wealth of knowledge and experience on here, sometimes a second opinion is a very valuable thing, especially when interpreting the minefield more commonly known as BS7671 .

Swapping ends, almost then ... my mum was born in Redruth hospital and I in Treliske; Camborne man myself though my Grandparents used to live in Park Road and latterly Trefusis Terrace.

Ah I did my apprenticeship with the Health Authority and did a fair bit of work in Redruth hospital many moons ago, sadly it's long gone and is now a housing estate although some of the old buildings remain converted into flats etc.
Only this week I was called on to do a bit of fault finding in Glendale Crescent, very near Trefusis Terrace. :smile5:
