Looking at a school job, suspended ceilings, fitted with lay in mods, 1800mmx600mm yes that's 6'x2' mods. these need replacing and before i go back to them and tell them that they will have to have the ceiling re configured to accept 1200x600 mods does anyone know where i can get hold of these beast's ??? as i have tried all of my usual suppliers and they are all telling me that they are discontinued and unavailable.

1200x600 are easily obtained. i got some a couple of months ago ÂŁ42+vat.
... But for how long? I can see 1200x600 fittings going the same way as 1800x600, which is just storing up the same problem for a few years down the line, after the ceiling has been replaced keeping the light fittings which you're about to install.
