Have been asked to wire up a hot tub. Have not done this before so after abit of help.
The tub is rated a 10kw using 45.5amps on the incoming cable to tub is a rcbo.
The tub is about 6 metres from the main board.
The plan was to run 10mm t&e in conduit on the outside of the house going to a isolator on the outside wall then feed the tub from this in swa to the rcbo.
Now with me running all the cable outside and also the fact the tub has a rcbo do i still need to put the cable from the board on a rcd.
Have I got it right or so badly wrong

No RCD from the CU. ...If you have run the cable in as you stated, then leave it as it is, pointless changing it now!! Probably a neater job in conduit anyway mate!!

I could use 6mm 2core swa cable With the lenght of the run could I use 6mm t&e maxium vable load being around 47amps tub pulls a maxium of 45.5amp or would that be two close to the limit of the cable

depends if the hot tub draw 45.5amps 100% of the time? I would use 10 mm myself but dont see nought wrong with using 6mm. unless you wanna be technical.

(I guess you using a 50amp rcbo.... in which case to protect the cable you will want too run it in cable that is rated over 50amps which 10mm is. Technically speaking of course.)
