Mike I'm starting to get a bit worried by all these threads you're posting up asking for advice.
You know that gold card you hold, are you sure it's a JIB card mate?

My 10.5 kW shower runs on a bit of flex to the landing socket - got a 2way adapter in there too for a an old 3kW fan heater I got from the tip in the bathroom. I do get a bit of a fishy smell if I have a long shower though!

you're using water that's too hot for your fish. give them a lukewarm bath instead.

he only uses it to clear his windscreen on a frosty morning.
 
I notice the showers now come marked with water inlet and electrical connection , so the plumber can't get confused , but because some can't read , they have also shown symbols by each connection..
