Cheers phil, good to see you have a sense of humour!

if you saw the sh*t i was going through not just the kitchen and a bathroom(no bath or shower for over two weeks) most would have gone nuts. The promise to be finished 20 working days, isn't going to happen.
Wife also starting chemotherapy on the 7th,meaning they can't be in my home. Last thing she needs it to pick up a cold or infection...

I feel for you paul..... that really is poor service and poor workmanship. I hope you get it sorted mate!!!

Phil sorry to hear about your wife mate, this is the last thing you need now, get onto them and give them hell.

it just looks wrong
Apart from the facts that A it doesn't line up properly B it's fugly C it looks stupid having everything in one small area D the construction of the wall is extremely suspect I can't see much wrong.
I'm currently subbing for a local authority and I know for a fact that if I turned in something that crap I'd be out on my ear. The project will have a manager and should also have a tenant liaison officer who should have made him/her self known to you before the work started in your home, get in touch with the TLO first to ask form the project manager to come to have a look at it. If you wait the tiler will come along and it'll be a hell of a lot more upheaval to rip the tiles off and start again which is something you could really do without by the sounds of things.
That cooker switch/outlet also looks very suspect.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Hi Phil, I have worked on Local Authority impaired mobility bathroom installs and usually they are turned round far quicker than yours. How can someone be expected to be without a bathroom for a month (20 working days). Write a letter or email to L.A., contractor and copy to local MP.
Regarding your wife, a close family member had/has bone cancer and had chemo., followed by radio therapy when it came back elsewhere. 2 years on and last check-up was good for another 4 months. Treatment has really improved and despite my view re NHS, this along with pregnancy and emergency (eg RTA's) care is pretty good. All the best.

Woke up this morning.
My dog was dead.
Wife has left me for another.
Kids have run away.
The cat’s eaten the budgie.

Take it like a man, get drunk! :smile5:
