The pipes may not be conductive but unless it's extremely pure the water in the pipes will be conductive, so that might need bonding.

Its obvious what needs doing then.........stick an earth rod through the pipe to bond the water...simples:tt1:
 
I thought the thread title was obvious but perhaps it should have said MANTRAP.
I see the post and just treated it like a pothole and stepped right over :) knowing Durhamsparky (Bully)had caused a pileup behind me :30:
 
Regulation 2043.8.1 BS 7671 21st edition states quite clearly "Every material in the installation must be bonded, including appliances, equipment, fixtures, fittings, furniture, carpets and walls"

If I have to bond my sofa, you have to bond the tap! thems the rules!

Rubber gloves and rubber mat in location ( thats what we suggested for female client for her mains vibro in the bathroom )
