That sounds great but I cant take your advice as you are a compulsive liar

I had no idea that existed! Will definetly look into that as an alternative! Now all I need is a way to connect a corded phone to a mobile so that instead of using a mobile to talk I can use the system as a regular phone!

Also, the wire to the workshop: I am not sure what size it is and will check it out. Im sure that it is armoured but good suggestion.

The reason why I was asking about the power cable from the CU to the workshop is if you are changing it you could put some conduit in as well. Then you can add whatever cables you need later on.

Adding conduit is a really good idea! I always like the idea of being able to expand.

A classic example is in computer design (especially in the past), where extra pins would be added to a connector or bus output (from a z80 for example), so that even though the computer is 10 years old you have the free unused pins to customise in the future.
