that's fine for a temporary installation until someone needs one for a replacement.... 
to be serious though, this does raise some significant issues for continued availability of discontinued panels.
We've got a few odds and ends of discontinued panels we've used in our warehouse, and for a while did have some Sanyo H series in for this reason, but couldn't justify keeping them aside in last years financial climate when we got an order for them, but there are going to end up being a lot of panels we've used that there won't be direct replacements for in a few years time.
