Starting housebashing and got a few tools but wondered what i was missing?

Got hand tools - screwdrivers, cutters, pliers, bolset chisel, saws, etc
test gear and volt meter
mains sds plus
18v sds plus
17v combi
12v impact driver
mains circular saw
bits
fixings
extension lead
temporary board!

any other stuff i have glaringly obviously missed that is really useful for you housebashers!?

PS getting a bosch multicutter (poor man's fein cutter!!) soonish.

The core cutter all depends if your installing fans and have the need for one.

I use a 4" grinder, cut 4 lines down the wall and hit it with a hammer - leaves a clean cut everytime, just a chisel then to tidy it up if needed. Saying that I have got a Dewalt SDS on order with chisels so will try that when it arrives

anyone recommend a cheap but good chaser? Thinking £100-150. Possible? Dont want to buy a frigging draper one!!

Anyone else think hitachi 800w is up to core cutting?!

Already spent a small fortune, have bought good dewalt/hitachi kit but dont want to knacker it doing the wrong stuff with it...

Most have been said above. PVC conduit cutter and bending spring, you'll b suprised how many times in a year you use conduit in domestic. Spare MCB's of different ratings and makes, always carry earth clamps and 10m of 10mm earth cable. Fixing kit of screws and plugs. Maybe worth putting a small peice of plaster bord in baack of van if you've got room (just incase you need to patch up). last and not least, TAKE YOUR OWN CUP/MUG. One of those thermos mugs are great, that way you know its clean at the start f the day, some of the cup/mugs ive been given customers are just manky!

Small first aid kit would be a good idea but you knew that already and we all carry one (cough cough)

keep it for tidying up chases and drill joists and ob sds drill bits...

as for chaser, i use an angle grinder with a 20 squid diamond balde..... but you wont get away with it if people hanging around... have chased the odd wall with just the sds, extra sockets switch etc...

if comes to an empty shell of house , hire one.. 70 quid with hoover

Cheers all! Got most of the things you all suggested too actually, my list was a bit crap! - had a few jars it's sat night and spurs won today for once!

My mains SDS and (for lighter stuff) 18v SDS with chisel bits are ok for chasing surely? What do you all mean by chaser? I always used sds with chisel for chasing. Some use angle grinder and bolster chisel. Bash it up with a sds chisel bit surely?!

Do i need a separate core cutter by the way? Can I use a 800w £100 hitachi 230v jobby with diamond core bit for extractor fans etc?!

Ed

I find chasing with a 18v eats through the batteries , better to have a decent mains or 110v sds plus drill

i mean identifying switch wires when you normal t&e brown and blue, do you mean this do , cos me not understand!

When doing loop in loop out at ceiling rose put a nick in the switch t+e, the other two therefore must be the feed in and out. I use brown as perm live to switch and blue with brown sleve as switch live. I sure you knew that already but it may help others out.
