Starting housebashing and got a few tools but wondered what i was missing?

Got hand tools - screwdrivers, cutters, pliers, bolset chisel, saws, etc
test gear and volt meter
mains sds plus
18v sds plus
17v combi
12v impact driver
mains circular saw
bits
fixings
extension lead
temporary board!

any other stuff i have glaringly obviously missed that is really useful for you housebashers!?

PS getting a bosch multicutter (poor man's fein cutter!!) soonish.

Rather than **** about with different makes of voltages for tools I would just go with one of the combi packs that use the same batteries, less chargers to carry and easy enough to swap about when cutting, drilling, screwing etc.

A decent level set, got a set of McAllister's from the orange shed 1/2 price, ranging from 250mm to 2000mm.

Chalk line, decent 3 or 4 rung steps. Combi step ladder that does stair ways for the hard to reach roses. Right angle drill adaptor and some cut down spade bits for when joists are tight together.

Warning labels for CU's and a small Dyno label printer. Heat gun and shrink.

Various lengths of screws for fitting switch and socket plates. Small selection of sockets, switches, patress's, pendants, baton holders, cable lengths, blah blah blah...

Cheap camera to shows customers the pictures of the previous bodge ups in the loft. A couple of LED headtorches, as you can never find one when you need it, work lamp. AA and AAA batteries.

Various holesaws for downlights etc.

The list is endless and on the first few jobs you will more than likely end up leaving the job to shoot out and get more stuff. It isn't cheap getting set up but as has been said before, buy cheap, buy twice.

Some 15mm and 22mm push fit plumbing stuff and pipe with inserts just in case you nick a pipe when cutting through floor boards...

Patience and a good sense of humour.

his brother is just as clumsy, they cost me a fortune in plasters! haha

Dont say that Kath, his brother was my man on the ground putting the cones out for me whilst I was in the basket of the cherry picker and he was directig traffic arround me whilst I was on the road working at 30 meters. He did a great job btw, say hi next time you see him.

To the OP so not to hijack your thread. Buy a good flask and a good pair of padded knee trousers.

Its not just about tools as you'll also need to build up stock of accessories too and keep them clean ready for use.

As may have said the kit list is endless, the accessories are endless and the extras are endless. Plus you'll need reels of T&E of all sizes and 10mm GY too.

One thing for sure, buy cheap, buy twice

I would say it is more about the bits than the torque of the drill. I use high quality Fisch auger bits for drilling out mortices and peg holes...
