that's offensive, not all copper thieves are pikeys.

I agree. My girlfriend is a Pikey & she not only admits it, but is proud of it.

She doesn't nick copper, but it's amazing how much cutlery, cruet sets, wine & beer glasses, napkins etc. find their way into her handbag when we have a meal in our local Indian. :whatchutalkingabout

All this reminds me of a story I read in a local paper a few years ago. A man standing on a bridge decided to urinate on a passing train, but hit the overhead lines instead. He was badly burnt but survived.

There was a girl of about 14 in Northumberland a few years back looking over a bridge over the east coast main line. She wanted to know how far away the OH lines were so went home and borrowed her dad's metal tape measure. She survived but her dad was quoted in the papers as saying more should be done in schools to warn of the dangers of electricity.

I hope she doesn't nick metal dustbins. TC's gang will think he has been abducted....

We must be related, my missus does that all the time

Serves him right, I have no pity for him at all I hope he had a truely horrific experience when the juice was running through him. In fact it's a shame he wasn't killed.

I was once feeling suicidal and touched something like the O.P posted with a metal tree pruner. got a real bad shock and my hand went numb for about 5 minutes. the floor was wet aswell because it was raining whch probably did not help but i suppose i was better on wet grass than a metal surface as it could of been worse. i had no injuries luckily.
