how fast

hia everyone newbie to the forum but, ive used it for lots of info in the past. So big thanks


i mainly do domestic rewires in council properties (s**t work) just wondered how quick everybody thats into rewires can connect up a cu. i only use crabtree starbreaker. fastest iv done one is 12min 30 thats with 2 rcbo's and 7 mcbs, im not trying to show off just wondering how fast everyone does them. the bord is fixed onto the wall alrady too.

This seems to have started out as a "Who has the biggest c*** competition" Who cares? I take my time (I am not fast) but my customers are happy with the end results. I can sleep at night and my testing is precise. (Oh and not a bit of mini trunking in sight, well not usually anyway!) I can also complete a one way CU in twelve minutes!!

Bunch of kids ? The opening post of this thread is the most juvenile thing I have ever read on this forum. The sort of thing you would expect to hear from "that young lad on site who just won't be told"

Did social housing rewires about four years ago. I'd never done them before so didn't know what to expect but then after the first house understood why the term 'house bashing' is used. These were tenanted properties and we had to do first and second fix of house and first fix of kitchen in two days. Money was JIB rates and there wasn't a day where we didn't work overtime!

agree. the welsh had a coherent languge when the english were still grunting. seeing some of the english football crowds, a lot of them still are.

12.30 Very good, so what we looking at 9 cicuits, 27 terminations at about 27 secs per termination. So this isnt mentioning about sleeving or tails or short cables. But thats great if your a young lad, But my hands are f#cked and are not as able as they used to be.
But look on the bright side keep spanking them out super quick, you make money now, then once they realise How fast you do them they will knock the price down and still expect it done in the same time. Age old time and motion.
Also i timed myself and i managed to type this reply in 12min 30 secs,,,, see what i done there.... Yes thats right it doesnt matter to me, only you my friend.
