There was a pub called the queens but not in town centre. Pubs on corners near centre were the swan, white lion, corner pin, the anchor all sadly gone now. The swan was a big pub in town centre on corner right rough place with its fair share of loonies

I think it was probably the Swan then. Corner Pin rings a bell, but not the other two. Yes, there seemed to be an above average amount of 'loonies' as you put it but I must have been lucky not to have upset anyone. I do remember throwing a game of pool once to keep the peace!!

Sounds like the swan to me used to have all the nutters drink in there. Gone now knocked it down to build new tesco and costa. You couldn't have a pint in every pub in bedworth once too many all gone now though just wetherspoons lol
