If you don't or can't get a mate to help for the entire job, then I would for when pulling in yer cables. As said already, they will always snag somewhere and you'll be running around like mad! I should practice what I preach really!
 
did a 'simple' rewire on a 3 bed house in sept last year that took 20 days. a few extra points amounted to a total 100 sockets and switches, plus alarm plus smokes plus garage plus outside lights. Walls were rubbish as well so had to be very inventive when fixing backboxes. Also client scheduling was very bad since had kitchen fitter and plasterer on site from day 2 and kept moving where he wanted things. also had to redo wiring in kitchen due to fitter drilling through 3 of the 6 drops. Solid downstails floor also ment lots of chasing and no usable conduit existed.

What I am saying is just be clear on what you are doing in the time. the above job was completed with all parties reasonably happy due to lots of communication and a very clear up front scope of works from me.
