How much do you think this should cost.
Bungalow re-wire.
Two ring mains for lounge bedroom 1 and 2 and hall using existing metal conduit in walls run in singles so six wires in each conduit leading down to sockets, 150 metres of cable used. Two ring mains because cable length for just one would be too long. Single cables run around loft in flexible plastic conduit.
One kitchen radial one kitchen ring using same type metal conduit.
Also one radial to supply boiler and one radial to hot water tank.
One ring to utility room.
One radial to freezer on its own RCBO to avoid nuisance tripping.
No junction boxes used as loft maybe covered by flooring.
Old wooden back boxes for light switches dug out and replaced with metal and made good.
One new socket put in for telephone and two for TV with wiring done also.
Four lighting circuits.
One for loft lights that is new with five independent light points as big loft.
All lighting cables using existing conduit but no three plating as no lights have three plates that I can see they are all chandlier type lights. Thirteen seperate light points in all.
Downlighters in kitchen and breakfast room
new fan and light in bathroom, bathroom has suspended ceiling so could be tricky.
All new switches all new sockets in brass except kitchen and bathroom.
New 15 way dual rcd board with two standalone rcd's for shed supply and garage.
New earth pit dug and new earth rod laid as old one is *****.
Bonding done to water and gas.
Every night power has to be turned back on as owner is living there.
No chasing and any small chases need to be made good.
Hoovering up and all that ********.
What do you reckon?
Just roughly.
Cheers.
