how rubbish is Mk

hi, been using MK for the past 4 months as I have been doing a big council kitchen contract and I just want to say that MK are rubbish. The terminal screws on the DP switches and fused spurs take about half an hour to tighten and as for the 2 way switches joke!

Just wondered what you guys views were? Think I'm gonna turn to GET on private jobs

BGs are good for the landlord and skin flint customers!

Electrifix do BG RCBOs for a few quid less than I can get other brands so will do for me.

My present customer (an old pal of mine) askd me to install some MK sockets.
They look good.
I usually install Contactum
I told him previously MK are absolute crap.
Guess what? I have now confirmed that MK are more crap than I thought.
Expensive utter crap

Had a few issues with MK light switches recently with screws in the terminals being jammed and not moving for love or money. took back to screwfix and got them replaced. Had 4 in all that have been bit iffy.
Give it time and you will see sockets and switches etc with Wago style lever connectors on the back. just strip, push in and push lever down and no messing about with little screws. it makes sense.

Our local authority always specs MK. One job we did we had a 10% failure on MK outboard rocker 2G sockets.

This is the reason we use Hager!!
