Ive removed the seal ...I have to fit a isolator so I can do a CB change . Its probably bakelite and fragile . Is it a question of a large screwdriver to flip out the catch at the bottom etc ???

Leave it for the suppliers to deal with.

The fairy jumped the gun a bit cutting the seals off.

Is that long threaded rods in the corners? There will be a hinge on the opposite edge.
Usually careful prying with a screwdriver, but it could just shatter bits off if you go in heavy handed.

Have informed the owner....I dont really like touching them
