Discuss How to pull supply fuse in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

Pulling the fuse is the easy part! Now putting it back in................................if you have done something stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BAAAAANNNNNGGGGG.

NO, no and thrice no. Not on my watch.

I have no idea what you are all going on about, all the fuses on my jobs are out when I get there ;)
I think I have a fairy DNO godmother :)

But yes not a good idea to advise him to pull the fuse if he's not confident, mind you it's only a fuse :) and a baby one at that :p

The issue here is should we be advising someone how to carry out work that they are obviously not competant to do.

in that case do we not reply to a post unless the op shows his quals and training, plenty posters who post with basic questions get detailed reply's..this is no different..

This is a bit like cloning sheep, isn't it? Just because we CAN, does it mean we SHOULD??

I make no secret of the fact I'm 49 mate. That must be almost 450 in cat years:)

I think I was just subjected to far too much TV when I was a child!! (Oh, and a little behind you Trev in the years dept but not as many as I'd like!!)

So that means you must be older than me in human years hahaha you old bugger:)
Just in case you're wondering, my version of the equation is H = Human years. K = the constant 9 for the number of lives of a cat. C = cat years.
So that gives us C/K=H
Or 600/9=66.6 (recurring)

Don't worry about the 4A fuse, it's a Keston boiler, it'll be dead by the time you've found one and it's been delivered.
