Hi, i've aquired a GENT sounder (unsure of model). Where do the wiring connections go for it?

The connections on the back are: 2x -VE, 2x +VE, and 2x REM. What do these mean? :s

assuming it's a 24V sounder, 2 +ve ( in and out ) and 2 -. stick 24V DC across it. + and -

Have installed some gent stuff and the are some sounders that you can put on the loop and then spur of to an extra device ie a smoke head
Could even mean 'remote indicator'?

REM is for a remote indicator on detectors. e.g if the detector is in a cupboard or lift shaft. not sure what it's for on a sounder.
