Im making a led array out of 8 100 watt led's and I want to put something in between my battery pack and the array that can adjust the voltage coming from the battery and also shows the voltage. I was wondering if someone could help me find something that can withstand the power demands the led's have. It it needs to withstand at least 800 watts 36v and 30 amps. As a power supply I'm using two 18v Makita battery's in series

I wanted to use something like this but I cant seem to find one that can withstand the right power demands

It's a specialised requirement and I don't know what you will get off the shelf. Can the LEDs be split into two groups? Does it need to step up, down or both? Do the LEDs have their own PWM control? That will focus the search a little.

BTW how long is this intended to run on those batts? Sounds like it will hammer them.

I guess you could split them into two groups i was going to just put them in parallel and for the batteries ive decided to use 4 in a 2s2p config which is 36v and the array only needs 32v
what do you think I should do

Hi,if the biggest capacity Makita battery is 6Ah,and you have 4 of them,it equates to about 2 hours of usable power,on my calcs.....what is the purpose of this lighting?

Can you give the specs of the leds you're intending on using.
