So........ We have just fitted out a comms room for a IT software client. having fitted the comms cab commando's and supplied the plugs to match, the company have asked us to supply the leads and fit the plugs.

However after a cursory glance at the back of the UPS units it would seem that the units are equipped with female C19 sockets, that would mean that these units would require a male C20 plug and lead which is far from ideal.

Anyone have any experience of this?

Are you sure that the C19 sockets are inlets? If so, it's worth querying this with the manufacturer of the equipment. I would expect these C20 fixed plugs for a power inlet:
4798.9000 | Schurter C20 Panel Mount IEC Connector Plug, Rated At 16A, 250 V ac | Schurter

a male C20 plug and lead which is far from ideal

It's not just non-ideal, it's wrong. If the manufacturer intends a male C20 cable to be used for the supply, I'd remove the UPSs and send them back. I think there's a mistake somewhere but let's see pictures!

As Lucien says, let's see some pictures of this one! It's either a misunderstanding, or it's been built on a Friday afternoon and someone has fitted the wrong sockets :-) Daz
