We always take two to each site, though to this day never had a DOA yet .
See below, ImmerSun and VO4Home installed together... - When we visted (Not our install) No labels, no diagrams no handover pack, SolarEdge 4000-16A conencted via 2,5mm2 to a 32A MCB. We fixed the labelling and put in a double pole 20A breaker that acts as an isolator and cable protection from the henleys in the box behind the ImmerSun, running all the new tails, and installing a new main incoming isolator, this took a long time.. Customer very happy with the fisnished job, as posted elsewhere we weren't going to replace the 2.5mm2 to the inverter foc for him...
Also note I didn't sell him the VO4Home, he had already decided he wanted one installed, I wasn't about to talk ourselves out of a job!
Spoke to V04Home, they said on the single phase unit it was Ok to butt up to it all around, - however there are case srews on the top, so can't butt it up to the ceiling!
Left to right:
Existing Consumer unit (now with a 32A spare way) Henley blocks in adatable box behind ImmerSun, Double Pole 20A Breaker for PV (from Henleys in 25mm tails, to PV conenctions in existing 2.5mm2) V04Home.
Property now running happily at 230V.
Outputs from our system: The ImmerSun tracks the generation very well - It doesn't cut out as I also have a large resistive load heat dump that the relay switches over to when the tank is hot. - I'll switch it off tomorrow and see how quickly the tank gets hot.
