INFRARED BEAM Help

Does anybody know how to wire a 12v infrared beam from the alarm panel? any help greatly appreciated

It would help if you could tell us what beam you are using and what panel you are connecting it to

wire a 8core to both the tx and rx 12vdc to 12vdc ,circuit pair on rx beam c/nc to zone on panel(might need resistors depending on the panel) tamper pair on rx beam to a tamper zone or global tamper on the alarm panel. the tx only requires 12v(no zone or tamper circuit)
