I should have added the words "like me" to the op nick

been doing an aprentaship a year and all thats gone missing is a hammer.

usually if you look after your gear then you dont lose it, a guy i know is aways loosing tools or should i say keeps forgetting where he puts them.


he left his charger in one of the cabins the other week and all the bateries in his bag were flat:D

Trouble comes when you work around wasters who borrow tools then stick them in their own box. Or actively nick them. I know a team of sparkies, anything goes missing, first place to look is in Fred's toolbox and 90% of the time it's there. He's not really called Fred...

we got a guy here like that.

i use a sharpie and/or a paint pen on mine so everyone knows there mine and will fish them out his bag for me :)
