So has anyone tried the new bahco drivers, ones with black handles? Or are the older orange/grey better, ive been through so many drivers, either lose or break them, need a decent set

I've had Irazolas for years and just replaced them as and when needed. I bought a set a while back consisting of a handle with interchangeable blades and if I'm honest they're a proper load of crap. Going to try wiha or wera next.

I use the Wera Kraftform Kompakt 18 Piece Assorted VDE Insulated Screwdriver Set and am happy with them. May buy a bahco set as well.

I have a mixture ;) as i tend to lose mine or use them as chisels sometimes :D i have ck, wera, draper (yes draper ;) im a badman), irazolas, bacho, and a couple of cheap ones from a DIY store :)

One of the best sets I've had are actually Wickes branded! They've lasted years and still in good nick, but now they're kept as a back up for my Wera set.

Best screwdriver I've ever had is a 12" long flat blade given to me by my grandad... It's always being used to lever up boards, bash chases, break bricks, the lot! Occasionally I use it to drive in screws too!

wickes drivers best buy for young uns starting out. money's got to be tight, so buy cheap but decent quality.

You have to weigh up what you spend against the risk of them getting lost, 'borrowed' or nicked in any case. Paying top money for everlasting tools that get nicked within three months = fail.
I should have added the words "like me" to the op nick
