My home CCTV system has started popping up this message suddenly… and I can’t get it to go away for good.

I’ve tried setting a DHCP as shown below, but it still appears.
Also tried disabling the DHCP and changing the “111” to any other number under 253… but after 10 minutes or so, the message pops up again.

It’s a SANNCE system, which I acquired from a customer when they upgraded.
Patch lead from here into a TP LINK Wi-Fi repeater.
Only new Wi-Fi thing in the house is a new Samsung telly. I might check its settings today.

I always set the routers dhcp scope to assign numbers from 50 to 250

I.e. 192.168.1.50 to 192.168.1.250

If any device needs a fixed ip, then put it outside of the dhcp scope
I.e. 192.168.1.10
Then the dhcp will not issue that address to something else.

This is a subject I know next to nothing about, but I can confirm that Samsung TVs cause unasked for messages to pop up on other devices at random times.

Happens with both of mine. Seems to happen a few times over a couple of days, then not again for weeks or months.
Have more of them in the holiday cottages. Haven't heard anything from guests, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Typical.

After taking those photos, enabling the dchp, I restarted the system…. And it’s playing nice now.

Now to sort the third camera out that’s stopped working.
