got a call from a customers mother could i call as the gas board electrician had condemend the electrics!
gas spark had left a cert stating defects after a quick check i agreed with his findings.
after speaking to the lady of the house it turns out she had an alarm fit beginning of the year2012 ,alarm engineer/ sparky
said your fuseboards is "DANGEROUS" i can change it if you want £200

so fuseboard changed

GAS NOT BONDED
WATER NOT BONDED
ALARM WIRED IN 1.0MM BACKED BY 20 A MCB

could go on but im bored as no amount of ranting is ever gonna rid our once great trade of these ,i won't use the word "cowboys" as the real name is "CROOKS"

The question i would ask is who is the bigger charlatan? The dude who turns up in the saloon car,no "club" affiliation,amateurish attempt at a job finished,sloping off into the fog cash in hand. OR blue-chip national purveyor of flammable wind,liveried up riding on the crest of a multi-million pound advertising thrust,name and van on every high street whose business mantra seems to have come Mr.Fiddler in "carry-on camping". There are VERY competant and incompetant persons in both of the above groups but i know who is the more sinister adversary.....That'll be a pound...
