as title. what is your favorite hand tool that you've had for donkeys. i'll start with my trusted weller soldering iron, bought in 1974 and still going strong. it's on about it's 12th tip, but can out perform any of these modern wimpy irons. same as this one, but 240V.

I like that, looks very dinky and light.
It locks and is small when folded,

Recently purchased a pair of these, they are a god send a 3 in 1 plier so always got them to hand. Dont know how I would cope without them now.View attachment 42648

I've nearly been tempted by them a few times, but I have a few reservations and they are a lot of money to chuck on something I might not get on with.

I was the same, but having shears, stripping tool and long nose pliers at hand all the time has come in very handy. Ok the long nose isnt as good as a deicated set but still use them a awful lot.

Not had this for ages, just found it recently...
I assume it was designed for a specific machine, for maintenance...but I would love to know if any of you can give me some info

A hammer and 3 screwdrivers,maybe...and it's a very light hammer and very fragile screwdrivers, thus I agree a hammer and screwdriver will do the same job, within the limits of the job you are working on.
Hey, it's just a curiosity!

Never been refused a pay rise and handy for dealing with non compliant customers who want to screw you on payment terms......

Used one in the states...all show...

Had a little "instruction" on the ranges in Israel, and the ex-Mossad instructor showed the fallacy of size-is-everything,with a demonstration of their close-quarter stuff, with a tiny semi-auto .22 pistol...proper clinical.

Personally,i favour a wordy,acerbic letter,in copper-plate....or that stare,me nan used to give,on arriving to a family meal as a teenager,with a new slutty squeeze...;)

theres no such thing as "ex-mossad", blood in blood out

nato ammo is 5.56, the bullet will bounce around inside the ribcage, and if it doesnt kill it still causes a wounded enemy combatant, which will need at least 1 more guy to help him , who will then receive his own piece of lead and the cycle continues

the 7.62 punches right through bullet resistant vests, why nobody wore them in iraq and afghan, unless your facing a pistol or take a glancing hit the vest is going to do nothing vs an ak47

they make ar-15s and m16s that are bolt action .22 for the uk market, costs about 1-2 grand to kit it out from a basic gun though
