Seen that kit plenty times on the shopping channels. That tells me everything I need to know about it.

The only one that got me wondering was that drill bit kit that was drilling through the car brake discs then into brick , concrete etc. I was tempted , but I thought - to good to be true for the money.

Anything that has a load of functions will generally do everything poorly.
The time taken to set up for the next function is so much slower than getting the right tool out of the box.
For ÂŁ500 you could probably buy the tools you will actually use at better quality.

I saw this kit at the Home Building show last year. The batteries where 1.3 Ah NiCads. Didn't think they would last long in real life.

Crock of crap....if your going to spend that amount of coin, get a hilti cordless drill....and every other task can be sorted with a cheap hatchet :smile5:

Problem with these kind of setup's is you're heavily tied in to that brand so every time you need batteries you pay over the odds, every time you lose or break one of the tools you'll also pay over the odds and so on, they have you by the short and curlies because have to stick with that brand every time you replace something.

If it was a well known high end brand like Festool or Hilti it might be worth considering but anything lees and I think it might cost you in the long run.

Hi Ruston
I was tempted with those bits first time I used them to drill concrete the tip melted off. Lesson leaned
Sent back but had to fight for a refund
