i agree with above, but when our gov turns a blind eye to all the un qualified traders willing to work for nothing then our price goes down just so we can eat
 
I've been charging 20-25 an hour for small stuff, and pricing quotes at 150-190 a day. I guess you need a flat rate, but i tend to be a bit flexible depending on how much i want/need the work, and who its for etc

I'm a sole trader in the south east
 
Currently quoting for £100 a day, all I can seem to get at the moment tbh, if push comes to shove drop down to £80, just to put you guys in the picture quoted a 4 bed rewire at £1800 and lost out to a quote in the region of £1200. It came to £800 for materials alone!

Seems like theres some in a worse position than I am and are prepared to work for less!
 
Out here in Spain the set price is 22 Euros an hour plus vat just in case you were wondering
