i like wiha also. But I needed some new cutters quick time as had a little accident with mine that left a hole through them and were useless at cutting after lol
lanky, lanky.I managed to get the pliers for £75 in the end and almost didn't get them because of the price. The bloke then told me they come with a lifetime guarantee which covers everything (including blunt jaws and warn grip plate) apart from live cable chomping[emoji3]. My knipex ones have warn down jaws and grip plate after about 5 months and they cost £40. Their screwdrivers are supposedly made from a single piece of steel bar ground to a point and shaped unlike most which are just drop forged. One bloke still uses his dad from the 1920's

the steel nowadays is usually inferior.
i own a few straight razors and the ones around 100 years old are the best quality.
so much so that if any nos blanks come up for sale they sell for a fortune
new old stock, bassically steel made and stored ages ago.You would think with all this modern technology we could design a better steel for tools. Its a shame titanium is expensive a set of drivers cast in them would be nice.
What's a nos blanks?

Sheffield steel used to be known as some of the best in the world but thats gone now. We've lost our way with steel making and Phosphor Bronze too. Neither are what they used to be!
