i must be lucky, knees are a bit buggered, but not as bad as a lot on here less than half the age. perhaps it's down to the fact that IMO the only excercise they should get, apart from work, is walking up to the bar to get beer.

a lot off bodybuilders/gym guys get knee problems because they dont spend anytime looking after/training there legs

If the wife has any fish fillets laying around the house i suggest u swap the knee pads for them. i could think of nothing more comfortable (and the ones you eat). lol :)

like i have said before, and trigger put it better than everyone, " look after your broom". so look after your body. excercise in moderation. if the pub is within 400 yards, then by all means walk. any further, get a taxi.

exactly, a lot of guys that go to the gym have no idea what they are doing and injure themselves

Rubbish again before you use pretty much all gyms these days you have an induction and are shown how to use quipment and what good and bad form are i go to the gym alot it is considered bad form not to stop someone from hurting themselves most injuries in a gym or playing tennis, rugby, badminton, fooball etc are from not warming up properly or overtraining.

You do get some people who think they know better than the majority but these people account for a very small pecentage and usually stop coming due to hurting themselves or not gaining any benefit which I like to call ''Thinning the herd''.

Probably one of the most important bits of kit in the van is my old trusty "carp mat." I stole it off one of my sons from his fishing tackle. No more bad knees, it folds away nicely to. I think fisherman use them to put the fish on, instead of a riverbank covered in gravel.
