kodi exodus problems anyone help

Is anyone on here, any good with troubleshooting watching movies or tv programs using an amazon firestick?
I have been using it to watch movies/tv programs using Exodus for about a year with no issues however, for the last two days I have not been able to watch anything.
When I select a movie or tv program, it goes through the normal routine where the time elapsed/ remaining providers pop up box appear and then it just seems to time out and nothing plays.
I have tried installing/uninstalling but this does not help.

Yeah, I had heard of similar rumours, could be my problem.

Who is your internet service provider?? Im with sky, mine stopped working but it was down to the new sky shield, I just turned it off and it worked fine after that!!!!

Try a manual update of the exodus add on (even if you have auto-update on) that usually works for me. I upgraded to the latest Kodi (V.17) the other day and kept losing sound during films, uninstalled it and re-installed v.16 (Jarvis) - no more problems, plus I think its easier menu system.

I uninstalled kodi and then reinstalled it. We are back up and running.
I went with V.17 and it seems fine. Totally agree with you about the menu.

We uninstalled in and installed v17.1 - works a treat. Failing that, you could use smpc which also works fine. It is based on Kodi.
