I've just heard that Krannich UK have been dissolved. I wonder if any other big suppliers are struggling right now too?

really?

I'm not particularly surprised, they were completely useless the 2 times I tried them out, and really should have spent their advertising money on building a decent portal like the one segen uses and getting their act together.

Completely agree, had a very similar experience.

To add something else to the thread, strangely they visited our website today, never clocked them looking before strange they do it on the day they have dissolved?

Never had any dealings with them but it may relieve our inbox of some junk. Probably bad news overall as competition amongst suppliers is generally a good thing. I guess the Germans are really struggling against the Chinese?

Their website doesn't seem to suggest impending doom:

"Meet the Manufacturer: Open Day a resounding success!
12/11/12
Our ever-popular Meet the Manufacturer event made a welcome return last week, with installers coming along to meet a variety of leading PV manufacturers"

How did you track that they visited your site? Analytics?

I had their Commercial Director, Phil Ellery, round at my place on Thursday , and I learnt a lot about them - 17 staff, owner just setting Stateside operations up etc etc, so it must be just rumours! In fact they've just taken staff back on after cutting back drastically earlier this year.

how good is your source for this?

If it's not better than Worcesters, you probably ought to change the thread title as I doubt Krannich would be too impressed with it if it's not true.
