Classic situation in business, the runour spreader had requested an account at krannich and were turned down.... perhaps bad fellings :33:
Hmm, that seems very strange.
tbf, this rumour wasn't without substance, they were / still are listed as having filed their intention to dissolve the company with companies house, and tbh it's not possible to do this by just forgetting to file a bit of paper, you actually have to file specifically that you intend to dissolve the company. There does seem to be another Krannich Solar part registered, so I'm thinking maybe they were planning to transfer the holdings from one company to a new company for some reason, and then dissolve the old one, but ballsed it right up by filing the paperwork in the wrong order.Classic situation in business, the runour spreader had requested an account at krannich and were turned down.... perhaps bad fellings :33:

Either way, its a pretty big gaffe to accidentally submit a notice of intention to dissolve the company with companies house when you didn't actually mean to file it, so they deserve to take some stick and raised eyebrows for it IMO.
especially when combined with a false assertion that companies can't sue for libel - of course they can, see eg the mclibel trial in the 90s, where Mcdonalds sued a couple of eco campaigners for libel. This is exactly how I see it, which is why I haven't closed the thread or renamed it yet. Whatever is happening is very strange and I think it is a bit odd for anyone to start suggesting libel.
Who can sue for libel or slander?
Individuals, companies, firms, certain charities and trade unions can all bring proceedings for libel and slander. Governmental bodies (local authorities and central government bodies) and political parties cannot - but if the allegation reflects on them, individual councillors, civil servants and politicians can all bring actions in their own name.
