Why is the annual yield of a 2.15KWp system only about 1800 KWh's? What are the factors in this calculation?

Assuming 8hrs per day average = 2920 hrs per year.
2.15x2920=6278KWh

say 10% efficiency loss = 5650KWh

I'm lost!?

Look at the PV System PDF thats stickied in this forum. Page 36 is a good start.

You'll only near your Peak Power Output for 3 or 4 hours a day, 3-4 months of the year. Add the Great British Weather to the equation and Bob is your Aunties husband
