mine's a Monument, all the way from sunny california, spins like a top, was ÂŁ10 from car boot. stuck it on a surplus tripod. magic.

I use a BMI, its a bit bigger than the PLS but its more robust and the line is brighter for working in well lit areas. Chippies onsite have the PLS but use my BMI if thier line is not bright enough!!

Also the magnet is built in and it has fixing points. It also comes with a strap if all else fails!

Wouldnt be without it, and it lets you know when the battery is getting low!!!

i thnk that you would be silly just to rely on a laser if you cant use the above methods. marking out takes most of the time, so thats why ive got a laser
Yep, and when you're cutting in the marks keep disappearing, but not with a laser. But I do keep 6/4/2/6" levels on the van as well :D

dewalt line laser all the way picked mine up for ÂŁ160 very very good , the hilti ones are defo a more clearer and longer line but has a function to save battery it turns itself off

Hi Pal, Saw an electrician on our site the other day with a new brand called FLAUTO. The model was a GD20. As well as a cross line on the wall it gave a plumb point and cross lines on the ceiling. It cost him about ÂŁ130. He reckons it was the best one for sparks.
