Discuss Laser levels in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I think a laser would be great for putting sockets in a kitchen especially before the finished floor is down. I remember a joiner who fitted 6 u shaped kitchens in some new flats before realising that his long level was out, they were all slopping from one side to the other. He then went straight out and bought a laser and spent the next 6 days putting them all right. So ÂŁ170 isn't a lot when you look at it like that. Also you can't put a chalk line on a finished ceiling.

Can someone do a quick dummies guide of how to use one of these to mark up a load of downlighters the easiest way.
Just having a think myself of how I would use the tool, but would be interested to hear how it 'should' be done :)

does no one use a chalk line now adays?

The Leica Lino L2 is a wonderful piece of kit. Leica are world-renowned for the quality of their laser tools and the build quality is second-to-none. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. The Lino L2 comes with a 3 year guarantee, but you won't need it as we have never had one returned! - Leica Lino L2 Plus > Buy Leica Cross Line Laser Level

If any of you need any questions answering then feel free to send me a message!
