Discuss Laser levels in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

Just resurrecting this thread, as I'm in the market for a laser level. I'm thinking of getting the Bosch GLL 250, and I've seen it refered to in various threads about laser levels, but I can't revisit cos' for some reason my pc doesn't seem to like the 'advance search' window at the mo, so sorry Mods.

I primarily want to use a laser level for marking out downlighters, but I'm just concerned how far back & forward does the Bosch project onto the ceiling, it doesn't seem to show that in their web site video's, unlike the 380P which is too expensive for me to justify. So if anyone has one?

90deg from top of unit and >20m in front in a dark ish room, I've never had a problem setting out spots with it.

One if my best bits of kit and will come into its own when fitting dado, trunking conduit etc.

I also use it when second fixing sockets
